Regolo Fossati opened his factory in Muggiò, Brianza, in 1948. He named his company Star in honor of his wife, Stella Pogliani. Their first product was the iconic DADO, a bouillon cube. Since then, Star has expanded its assortment to include teas, ready-to-use ragus, sauces, and seasonings, establishing itself as a go-to kitchen brand in Italy.
