Store unopened packages in a cool, dark place to maximize freshness. After opening, seal in an airtight container or bag. To rehydrate the dried mushrooms, soak in lukewarm water for about 10 minutes. Place a plate or other object on top to keep the mushrooms submerged in water. Squeeze the mushrooms dry after soaking and use them in stir-fries, noodle dishes, rice, sauces, soups, and more. The soaking water can also be used to add a deeper flavor to your meals, as mushroom broth.
